After doing some research, I've come to realize that doing your own hair and make up (or having a friend or family member do it for you) is a lot more cost-effective than having a professional do it. Practice until you get things right and you won't have to shell out +$200 for hair and make up. In this economy, anywhere you can save money, the better.
